I have put mine in the same spot as Rollin over. But mine is the new CKMA12 offered by ARB. my plastic cover goes back on as well. Moved a bit of wiring and the plastic case the covers the transfer case module was trimmed on the base to allow the compressor to sit low as possible. The rubber grommet at the front right side of plastic housing was perfect spot for the switch. Once I figure out how to post pics using my iPhone I'll put some up.

i notice your drawers dont seem to have much packing under then (i sheet of ply ?)

is there any way to adjust the lower tailgate get to get it compleatly level rather than slightly angeled upwards

sorry to intrude into this tread .....but i saw your drawer fitting and it has helped me a lot
Not that I know of, I have a false floor and an 18mm sheet of ply under the drawers, the bottom of the drawers are 15mm, that lifted them enough, but they still touch the tailgate when they are fully open, these are from my old D2, so I'll be making a new set soon, I am trying to work out an easy way to angle mine as well.

    Cheers Baz.

Had to move the wiring harness a little bit, also had to trim down the base of the mounting bracket that contains the bosch module for transfer case.

All and all happy with install

This should help http://www.aulro.com/afvb/d3-d4-rrs/...tery-tray.html. It took me 40 mins to clear the entire 2nd compartment area for my Optima D34 second battery using a Traxide kit. As an air compressor is much smaller all these steps won't be needed. I have my air compressor (ARB brand) mounted in front of the cranking battery.

    Regards Trif.

Thanks for the info, what was your reason behind doing this around the other way? Have you got a bigger compressor? Interested in knowing before my install. Was it the traxide dual batt system you installed?
