    Elsey,

Have GG AT 255/55 19 on d3 hse v8. Have been in most offroad conditions on them - around 10,000km so far so wear is too early to tell (at this point they look like new still despite some serious gravel/rock work). I haven't had any damage whatsoever on rocks & gravel, they are excellent in thick mud and slushy dirt roads. On road performance is excellent, wet or dry, comparable or better in all respects to previous Pirelli zeros.

Only comment is that they are audible at high speed - no noisier than the Pirelli zeros I had previously, but a different pitch which has taken some getting used to. Considering they are at least $150-$170 per tyre less than coopers or Pirelli ATR, I'd buy them again.

I agree with Epic Pooh re GG AT. After a couple of drives I am finding them pretty noisy especially at cruising speed...don't think they are much quieter than my KM2s. in every other espect they seem very good especially on dirt., better than the GG AT2s I had on my D3.
Slightly regretting buying them( despite the good price) as I don't really need and off road tyre as I use the KM2s for anything offroad.
If anybody local is interested I may sell the GGs on, they have only done about 1000k.

    Bloody hell Jools.
That's pretty dramatic wanting to sell them so soon.
The Pirelli ATR's were probably the quietest AT tyre I have ever had.......and quite capable off road.

Will keep my ears open re: selling your GG's.

    Cheers, Craig

What are you planning to replace them with?

Well that's the big question..Any suggestions would be good. Disco4SE suggested Pirelli ATRs.

5 Would you buy them again?............... NOT ON YOUR LIFE

I want to replace my road tyres and am trying to decide between the Cooper LTZs and the G Gs. I know that there is a reasonable price difference and am wondering if there is really that much difference between the two brands.

My thoughts in bold red above

All 5 GG AT2s are now in the shed, 2 are awaiting warranty replacement for sidewall damage sustained when we were in the high country, one has been replaced with a GG AT, just waiting to select 2 new tyres, we are going to put the new tyres on our camper, we have gone to 17" rims and Kumho KL78 ATs on the D4, these are a brilliant tyre and being 17s, they are LT.
