Question for D4 owners with ARB bars.

Can you remove the headlights without removing the bar?

    Cheers,
    Jon

I was told maybe two weeks but not definitive......... I guess I'll have to be patient.

Interesting. I got a call from my installer two weeks ago saying he had just received mine from ARB and it was ready to go. Its currently being installed.

If anyone has an HSE with our bar fitted, we'd love to hear any feedback that may have re wind noise.

I have one of your bars on my D3 and I haven't noticed any undue wind noise. I also have an Expedition Rack and Raised Air Intake on the same vehicle and any wind noise that I do hear appears to be coming from them.

I got an ARB deluxe bar & warn winch on my D3 TDV6 SE, snorkel, roof pod, foxwing, rhino rack...I hear the snorkel for "wind noise" thru the intake but no bull bar noise.

Thanks Mike. Same as D3 then - pity. It puts me off fitting one to the D4.

    Cheers,

Feed back Sam- the high lift jack points are no good mate. They are too close together and lift the front half of the car untill it falls over.
Nice bar -shame about the lift points and doube shame that you have no recovery points as well.

Why would it have recovery points? The D3 and D4 have a factory rated recovery point which the ARB bar and under-plate makes easily accessible?

Personally, I would never jack a vehicle from the bullbar... Just not a good place to do it for stability.

Dont be put off, doesnt seem to cause operational issues, and as I said, can easily access light to replace bulbs etc...

Only time I can see a problem is if a headlight was broken - which would likely require bar replacement anyhow

Once the bar is fitted, removing and replacing is only 20 minutes go to whoa.

I've done it solo twice (dont ask) so with a helper its easy.
