 The petrol 4.7 in the LC is only about 5kw more in power and much less in torque so I wouldn't have thought there would be much difference between the engines particularly in a 0-100 run - difference would be more about how the power was delivered rather than actual figures.  Some motoring writers have said the diesel is the better all round performer on the road.
I guess the 5.??litre in the Lexus would be a different matter.
