    LLAMS on 2013 D4?

Can anyone confirm that Llams works on a 2013 D4? A person in South Africa gets faults immediately but I've had feedback from the USA that it does, so a local confirmation would be helpful.
    TIA

    Yes it does work.

I should have had a better look through my records as a kit is fitted to a 2013 D4 in Slovakia and confirmed working. I expect the SA problem will be resolved by fitting a cable tie around the 2 joined connectors that tend to get strained causing them to separate a little at one end.

Edit: I had already confirmed no wiring changes since MY10 with MY10 changes already accomodated in the original wiring harnesses due to early D3/RRS variations. I regret not having earlier gutted a suspension ecu for its connector to prove the loss of contact was at another connector that is easy to prevent.

LLAMS doesn't stand for anything itself but is the name under which I make and sell an electronic height controller/adjuster kit that allows various height adjustments via a switch, primarily to provide off-road height whilst the suspenison ecu thinks the vehicle is at normal height to overcome the 50 kph speed limited off-road height mode although it also has other benefits. The same kit fits all D3/D4/RRS vehicles and L322 RR Vogues fitted with Terrain Response.

Edit: I might have to buy a 7 GBP Topix 24 hr subscription to see if the new TR v2 system uses the same wiring.

    Hi Graeme,

I have a November build 2013 D4 and have LLAMS fitted for probably a couple of years. There was a slightly older 2013 getting done at the same time and he had no issues until he sold his car.

I've had no issues up until a few weeks ago .... but that was after an expectedly deep swim in a creek at Moreton Island. I don't get the connection and may be coincidence as the LLAMS unit is inside the car and nothing got wet but it happened about 10 mins after the swim. Started with a Suspension Fault and then every error under the sun after that.

I managed to replicate it several times but it went away each time I switched the LLAMS off and reset the car. No faults with the LLAMS off. I just haven't had time to look at it again......crazy time of year.

Edit:- LOL ...... Just looked at the date of the original post ..... just a wee bit late with my feedback ;-0

    Cheers,

    Kev.
