I happened to be in at Newcastle ARB today and thought I'd just ask how much fitted for the front air locker. They quoted $1600 fitted. When I asked whether that included the compressor they said that that would be another $500!
For that price I'll be getting BFG KM2s and letting them help the e-diff and traction control with any hill climbing problems.
Why would they fit a air locker that does not work.
The price of the locker compressor is about $200 (haven't checked for a few years).
$5oo would be for a tyre pump up type compressor.
I think you need to go back and discuss with them.

There are lots of other mods other than a front locker that would be of far more use in just about every other situation, our D3's off road prowess improved dramatically when we fitted the larger KM2's and learn't to run them at the right pressure.
As I have said previously a front locker in a D3/4 would only really come into its own when your seriously in the poo, especially stuck on the side of some seriously bad steep hill and its that scary that that your sphincter is all puckered up, then a front locker would seem like a absolute bargain.
