I did this with the help of Sniegy,easy as.
No one could come close price wise here and luckily they had what i wanted in stock.
The sales guys were also excellent,not pushy,knew their stuff,very helpful and organised.

Sniegy, I'll get back to you on that - appreciate any help. I can't buy until settlement on a house sale has gone through in 3 weeks or so. She who would like to be obeyed has agreed in principle but wants to go and see one first. We are buying a D4 mainly for her comfort, accessibility (lowering height is important) and cargo space for a wheelchair so it's important she's happy. I think she won't have a problem at all though as we have a Pajero Exceed at the moment and I can only see the D4 being much better than that.

Something must be going on behind the scenes in Landrover here in NZ as I was rung by a dealer this week telling me that they are discounting the D4's by up to 20K NZ..

It will be worth your while doing a bit more research...Oz and NZ are effectively the same market for LR

I bought mine from a dealer in the south of WA, give them a go as you may be surprised that they are one of the cheapest in Aus.

Could you let me know which dealer? Not sure if that's permitted under forum rules so it's ok if you can't

There's only three LR dealerships in WA. Two are in Perth (and are owned by the same person).

The third (that Kev61 is referring to) is in the south of the state, and is not owned by the same person who owns the Perth dealerships.

I bought mine from Barbagallo (one of the two in Perth, and the owner of both Perth dealerships) and got a got deal from them. Have heard good reports from various people about all three WA dealerships.

go to all dealers in wa ride them hard I got mine down by 12k and that was on a defender.
