						SubscriberHi Gordon
I agree the LR bar looks ok, but I am thinking of also mounting a winch, which the LR bar does not do.
Cheers
Tony

SubscriberI don't have one but have had a bit of a prod. Its an odd looking thing and certainly doesn't look as strong as an arb or ol bar - its alloy too of course. Big minus too is that it won't take winch.
Didn't get a good look at the chassis mounts but what does concern me is that the top of central hoop is very close to the grille and has a couple of brackets which bolt to the top of the panel in front of the radiator. I would be very concerned that in an impact this would go straight through the radiator. No real proof of course, someone needs to put a roo through one.
Just going on looks I wouldn't trust one and usually if something doesn't look right, it isn't.
Cheers,
Jon
Happy with my ARB bullbar. Have to say the fitting quality is exceptional. I was a bit skint and decided against the colour coding (Fuiji white). I'm glad I saved the money, the black bar looks 8)
I only wish I installed it before I hit that roo :-(

SubscriberThanks for the Ritters advice. I went on a LROCV organised 'hoods off ' day ran by Ritters , they seem like decent people to deal with.
Cheers
Tony
Was just checking used vehicle prices before I renewed my insurance and can across this D4 with a LR bullbar sitting in a Ford dealership in Wodonga
2013 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 4 HSE SERIES 4 L319 SDV6 USED VEHICLES IN STOCK Melbourne Ford and FPV dealer - Ford and FPV Dealership in Lavington and Wodonga-
If anyone is in there area and wants to check out the LR bar and give feeedback, myself and others would appreciate it. Photos especially with regard to mounting and fit would be great.
Opps that should be their Lavington/Albury lot.
