Does make you wonder then why the glass hammer sits behind a barrier to the people who may need it. Back to square one answering the original question
Because most modern cars don't have a door handle on the inside of the rear door.

A lot of cars have one piece tailgates that are held up with hydraulic struts. Climb into the back to get something, rear door blows down due to worn struts and you're stuck in there.

All fitted up ... ended up getting them fitted & aligned at Lance Dixon - done "in-house" and all's well... and somebody on here (lives in Plenty ?) said they'd be interested in my old spare GG - your message seems to have been "lost" or "removed" - so if you're still interested send me a PM - failing that I'll put the GG up in the "markets" section.
    cheers

Looks great OS, now I hate you too, another thing to add to my rapidly growing list. Wish I DID work in a bank and could sample those green ones...

Heh heh heh ... I know how you feel...there's always some other "thing" to add to your vehicle. Next project for me is a set of drawers for the rear... done the planning & drawing now I just have to get around to making it.
Roof top tent - Black wolf normal tent -awning - water tank - dual battery - fridge - camp seats - chain saw - winch & bullbar ...ahhhh it's only money.... I look at it this way - I'm getting my landy ready for some serious camping trips and doing something for the economy at the same time...

    cheers

    Bridgestone D697 in the Desert

    Hi Guys
Just returned from the Simpson and ran D697's 285/60-18. Absolutely amazing car and tyres no problems and D697's unmarked after 5000+k. I have attached a couple of photos, yes D4 did get dirty and yes we crested Big Red harder climb first time (fully loaded).

I did a few nights at my fav place in the Pilbara.
A few hours from where I live. For the first time I didn't reduced pressures
For gravel rocky tracks. Got a side wall slice in one of my new D 697.
Doh. Soon reduced pressures with no problems afterwards.
