Haha I've been caught out many times like that sound does weird things or you open something up and just a little phone charger is rattling, something silly.

Hmm so removed that today and lost a clip searched high and low for it does anyone know the names of them or part number to chase up one?

I'd just phone LR and describe the clip you need. They'd go through a few I reckon.

Back on the tick/rattle, after much searching (and a trip to the dealer where of course it didn't rattle ), I've narrowed the location down to the plastic panel to the left of the steering column (behind the outer trim).

I can push in a particular spot and replicate the sound but as it's coming from behind the black plastic panel, I can't get in behind it to add some felt/padding etc.

Any suggestions? Permagrin at the moment is more like an occasionalgrin.

Yeah i found my rattle seems to be mildly fixed after pulling the panel down and now with only one clip its stopped grr dunno why!! Any noises that shouldn't be there annoy the hell outta me!!
