Unfortunately we dont have that option in Australia as we are unable to turn our airbags off, i believe its mainly for the USA and so forth.
Anybody tell me where the passenger air-bag on/off switch is located please?
I can't find the one pictured in the manual(Page 64)

Thanks for the reply, when I start the car now this warning appears in yellow; "Passenger air-bag off". Have we inadvertently bumped something?

How come my 09 D3 has a switch to turn the passengers air bag off?
It is on the door side of the glove box.

In previous posts on this forum it was explained that we don't have the ability to switch it off as our ADRs specify baby capsules (and kids? - can't remember) are not to be placed in the front passenger seat. Airbags can damage younger children if deployed which is why you can turn them off overseas as they don't have the ADR restrictions that we have.

Yep, the dealer blanked ours off on an early service....and left the wires and plug to rattle around in the dash......I would like to be able to turn it off, unfortunately I might not remember to put it back on again.......![]()
