Hazza, are you referring to the supplied hand books?

Dealer will not be able to program as the programming for the Aus market will not modify the CCF file.

    Cheers.
There has to be a way it can be activated. If it can be done on pre MY14, why not MY14????

Works a treat on my MY12. Up and down fine by using the keyfob.
Get your fingers in there and it will stop and go back down again.
Seems odd that they would disable it for later models.
Very handy feature when kids leave the windows open, so being able to global close all windows from in the home is a very handy feature.

Did you have to activate it? I have an MY12 SE as well and would love this feature. My 2001 Golf GTI had it and I used it a lot for same reasons as you have described.

Maybe I should read that manual!!

If you have access to a Nanocom or similar you can modify your CCF to make it work...

The CCF for my MY14 TDV6 D4 has Global Close and Open "enabled" but only Global Open works in practice. There are a couple of other similar settings that could have an impact though...

The one I want to have a play with is "Engine Power Output" with the drop box options of 156kW and 180kW. It is oh so tempting to select 180kW and see what happens

Must keep reminding myself, this is a 5 month old car, don't play with it yet...

    Cheers,

Redback - did the dealer have to do it for you?
