Hi
I've got a D4 TDV6 MY 2014 and struggling to get global closing to work at all.
I've done a search on here and most posts seem to relate to previous models rather than the current MY2014 version so sorry if this is a repeat.
Global opening works ok.
According to Australian MY2014 specs the TDV6 should have Global Closing, however nothing happens and according to the owner manual there is an option in vehicle set-up to turn it on and off, but there's no such option.
Anyone else had this experience? Any ideas to get it to work?
Thanks

I never got it to work really although doesn't bother me as the air con is so good the car cools down that quick it doesn't really matter. I did see something on this a while ago but forget what it was under.
Presumably it's under warranty being a 2014 model so if no joy here I'd be giving the dealer a call - may be a simple thing to do yourself.
G'day Hazza1981,
My 2012 D4 was the same.
I got on to someone in Landrover "Help" & he reckons that it has been disabled on all Auatralian Spec. D4s.
Apparently Aussies are prone to jamming kids hands/heads in the windows.

What is "Global Closing?"
Dave.
I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Hold the unlock button down on you key fob and it opens all the windows. Called 'global opening'. Hold the lock button down and all the windows close called global closing.
I have an MY14 as well and it doesn't have global closing activated but I plan on asking the dealer to activated it, global opening works a treat.
Global Closing is NOT enabled on Aus market vehicles.
Dealer will not be able to program as the programming for the Aus market will not modify the CCF file.
Cheers.
