Mr LR is spot on - the main support that the Mitch Hitch bolts to is the tow point which is a rough cast and has dags and other bits that need a bit of trimming to smooth them off - particularly inside the ring where the plastic bushes go in - nothing to do with the Mitch Hitch itself.
