Olde Quinns Rocks
Is the old duplex on the sandhill still at the northern end,158 Ocean Drive?????
Spent 4 or 5 years there, view was amazing, wander across the road for a feed of tailor, mulloway or whiting. Those where the days.

After trouble free 54,000 KM it's getting close to replacing the factory Wranglers,
I'm leaning towards the Hankooks RF10 ATM"s after reading the forum over the last few months.
I have no complaints with the Wranglers and they have lasted well and have completed all off road work I do with no problem at all. ( sand mainly )
I'm thinking maybe the Hankooks will be less expensive than the factory Wranglers ? ( but I would kick myself if I changed and it was a lot noisier )
Any tyre shop recommendations that know the D4 - I work in Forrestfield and live in old Quinns Rocks so have most of Perth covered with where I can go,
Look forward to some coments
Thanks
Jack

Keen to follow this thread. I've decided to go Hankooks because I think they are a tougher tyre on rough tracks. I'm willing to have a go at sacrificing some quiet.
As mentioned before, both Bob Jane (Perth surrounds) and Swan Tyres (Ozzy Park) sell Hankooks. Bob Jane specifically list the ATM RF-10
Cheers,
Gordon

I fitted the hankooks this week and have only done a bit of road driving but haven't noticed any increased noise. I paid $290 fitted and balanced in Sydney.

AAA Tyres Castle Hill. I'll get a photo for you tomorrow for sure.
Went to my friendly Bob Jane store in Mindarie tonight, they thought I had at least another 5000km left, but the fronts, that have been on the rear for six months were not in the best shape, and due to the upcoming long weekend decided to order a new set of 4 for fitment early next week.
I went with the Hankook ATM RF10 @ $340-00 per tyre + $75-00 for the alignment and extras. The original Wranglers were over $500-00 each.
( you have to build in the WA Gold tax / remote tax / because they can in WA taxes) compared with eastern states prices, as long as they do a good job I will be happy, everyone has to eat as they say!
Andy, I will do a drive by and see if your old abode is still standing or not, they have been slowly knocking down a few and building their mini mansions over the last few years, I will get a photo for you.
Give everyone a update once the new boots are on.
Jack

I want legal tyres on my stored 19" rims in case they're needed so might give the Hankooks a try if the price is good.

My local BJ lowered his price to a competitive $285 but I'd like to see a close-up of the tread on this particular size before ordering.
Has anyone an opinion on the very cheap (and directional) Atturo AZ800 either in the 19" size or generally?
