    Jliquorish,

I've been looking at buying the IIDToool as well though I've not actually done so yet.

The easiest way to buy one that I've found is via :-
    DA6408 | Iidtool Bluetooth - Land Rover Part DA6408

I've bought some other things via lrdirect and the service / delivery has been great.

    Mike

Got mine from lrdirect and I agree with Mike. I bought a few other things at the same time and that really helped with shipping cost spread over multiple things. The support is not through the supplier, it's directly with Gap so where it comes from isn't critical.

I got mine from (BMI) British Motor Imports - email contact is ben@bmiparts.com.au

Great tool. Get the BT version, so much easier for reading codes, logging live values etc.. with your iPhone etc.. and then emailing that info direct from the app as well.

Can these be used to adjust suspension height or are they a purely diagnostic tool? I would like to lower the car below normal access height if possible as my wife is disabled and this would help her get into the car more easily.

    Pardon my ignorance please

With the IID tool you can, but its only changing the normal height calibration - so you'd have to lower the normal height by say 20mm. that would then give a 20mm lower access height, but also a lower offroad height as well. If you want to go changing the height all the time then LLAMS would be the way to go

Llams will really help you Andy and Martin.

Especially the extra extra low function...

I agree, Llams is much more convenient for this type of use. It's been helpful when I've wanted to take my 94 year old neighbour to run errands. She's not very mobile and got in & out quite well on Llams access height.

The iidtool is pretty quick but no where near Llams. Also, a diagnostic tool is directly changing calibration. IMO Llams is less invasive.
