Thread: 600nm engine quieter than 520nm engine?

So I've been driving a colleague's D4 SE with the more powerful engine and it seems quieter than my 520NM TDV6, particularly after a cold start. Has anyone else noticed this difference between the two engines? Not that mine is noisy, far from it. But I can notice a difference.

On a positive note, whilst there's a bit more mid range urge, the difference in real world performance is no where near what I expected. My 520NM punches well above its on paper stats.
