    Radio reception D4

    Hi all

    I've started experiencing poor radio reception on my 2011 D4 SE. I have the window mount aerials on sides & back - does anyone know where the cables run from their to the main unit?

    Im hoping its a simple accessible cable or earthing problem - no way do I want to attempt pulling the dash apart - it looks scary!!

    IIRC, the antennas are connected to coax which goes under the headlining and then down behind the driver-side plastic trim in the luggage area. There is an antenna amplifier in there - not sure where it goes after that, but probably to head unit.

    Check the Earth on the Amp in the rear, they can come loose & when they do become a poor contact. Clean area where Earth attaches to the vehicle & re-attach.
