Gday All,
After reading the essential spares sticky I see wheel speed sensors and height sensors are recommended spares to carry. I looked at these items and see they are listed as LH and RH items, so that means they are wheel specific not just front and rear.
So have I mis-read this info or are people carrying 4 of each as spares? I guess you could just take the 50/50 gamble and hope if they do fail you are carrying the right spare.
Teach me oh wise one's.
Cheers Ean

1984 RRC, in hell
I've looked into this for mine (D4 MY14). I asked specifically about left/right and have been told by the dealer parts specialist that the sensors are the same for left and right. My examples, which I have already purchased:
LR013783 will fit RHF & LHF (wheel speed)
SSB500102 will fit RHR & LHR (wheel speed)
LR023648 will fit rear both sides (suspension height)
I didn't ask about front suspension height LR023646 but assume same thing (good for both sides). I also haven't actually looked at the existing ones on the D4 yet.
Cheers,
Scott

D4 front height sensors use one for front both sides and another for rear both sides. However Microcat shows that D3s use 4 different height sensors.
D3 rear wheel speed sensors same as D4 but front, whilst the same left and right, have different part numbers for MY05-06 and MY07-09.
