Engine Saver uses a similar sensor.
The idea is to bolt it to a head and as close to the coolant passages as you can, avoid exhaust manifold areas.
Just look for an unused threaded hole and find the correct thread/length bolt required.

Can anyone point to the easiest point to connect a Temp Warning Alarm please.
It has a sensor to put under an Engine bolt - any suggestions as to best point here? please
Then through the firewall (-I intend to use the same method as the traxide I have installed).
It only requires a 1 amp fuse in line ... I have a Nokia Bluetooth Phone connected would it be OK to piggyback on that or is there an easier wire to access - under the steering dropdown panel if at all possible .. ?
Please describe any connection point as if you are talking to a novice please?
Many thanks
Steve

You can also use the sensors on the transmission sump or anywhere you wish to monitor temps.
