As far as I'm aware, aren't spacers illegal and aren't mods like this, require an engineers cert.
That's why those with 19's on the car fit 19's to the trailer.

Nope, no engineering required for small trailers. They're designed at the discretion of the fabricator/builder. Whilst following general guidelines, as dictated in the document on "building small trailers". The minimum requirements are insanely easy to meet...

PM me if you want alloys on your trailer that match the car Baz

Might be a different requirement for trailers in QLD though.

It's more about whether the company doing his camper, will go to the trouble of setting it up to suit his D4, which I think they won't.

The other thing is, 19s are not ideal for remote travel, especially when you factor in the weight of the combination, I'm assuming he will be doing a fair bit of travelling, once the camper/van is ready, with some remote stuff in that travelling.

I don't need alloys at the moment Will, I have 17" BMW alloys if I want to go back to alloys for the camper, I have the 2.7l D4 and I already know what I need to do to put alloys on if I go to 10" electric brakes in the future.

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

If it's really important, could you use Disco rear wheel hubs somehow on a trailer axle?
    Just putting it out there.

Rears are just a flange, fronts are hub/bearing units so could be fitted on a custom axle.

It’s just a commodore hub you need..... just machine the spigot if it’s a little too big
