D4 - Swapping standard lights to signature lights

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone has changed over the standard D4 lights to the signature LED lights at all?

    Thanks

I thought all D4's had "signature" LED lights - I've never seen one without them.

Sure you aren't referring to the difference between the older style of D4 headlights (say 2012) and the newer model's lights (2014 / 2015) ???
    Cheers .........

SE and HSE have them as standard. TDV6 comes with a single yellow globe that you can change to white but I havent found any updates to the DRL on the SE and HSE models but would love to

    So back on topic.

Yes you can upgrade to Xenon headlights with the Signature lights.

You then need to edit the CCF to make it all work (easy) using something like the IID tool.

So the wiring harness plugs straight in?

The standard bi-xenons use the same harness as the halogens but the adaptive bi-xenons require their own control module.

So Tombie have you managed to figure out the CCF changes that stumped Kev (Celtoid) in this thread?

He got close but seemingly not all CCF settings were discovered.

Its no good going to a LR dealer as their equipment does not have the ability to edit individual CCF settings - a Faultmate or IID tool is needed. Whilst I didn't try changing D4 headlight specs because I didn't have a need, I changed various other CCF settings with my Faultmate that a LR dealer could not change, such as disabling the steering column lock and changing the various speedo and fuel consumption correction factors.
