I have this annoying 'fault' in the traction control of my D3, driving into (mostly) sweeping left-handers and not at any great speed, the TC has a habit of activating, (scares the tripe out of the wife), it has happened a couple of times going into right-handers. Whilst this activation occurs mostly when towing, a camper van and of late a caravan, it does happen with nothing behind. Anyone else have a similar issue? I did have a front bearing replaced at last service which we thought could have been an issue but the problem's still there.

I'm guessing you mean DSC rather than TC? My DSC has been doing that for a while and it's really annoying as it always kicks in on the best kinds of corners, when carrying a bit of speed. I'm getting a recurring fault regarding the Yaw Sensor, which I haven't as yet had replaced.
The steering angle sensor calibration as mentioned is an easy one to tick off - can do it yourself with a nanocom. As is making sure tyre pressures are ok.
Having lower control arms replaced definitely helped mine a lot but didn't get rid of it. The next thing on my list is front struts - the right one is definitely had it, and it's left handers, loading up the right front corner, that produce the DSC reaction.
It may end up being the yaw sensor but the other stuff all needed/needs attention anyway.
Good luck with yours, and report back if you manage to nail it!
