So I just paid for my APT Sliders, Air Compressor Guard and Air Tank Guard tonight, so should see them within a week I assume.
Not that I knew I had an air tank to get an air tank guard :o so how big is the air tank because the guard looks pretty long in the pic ❓

Air tank is probably about 4 feet long perhaps? Not overly wide though.
Just found the measurements, 1075mm long. ;)
Babs, I've done 230,000km, a lot on very rough roads. I've never had a stone hit my headlights. The windscreen, yes, the fog lights in my ECB Bull Bar, lots of times, including when driving my new D4 home from Sydney across the Nullarbor (they are both currently smashed) but nothing whatsoever on the headlights. I think the headlights are plastic anyway.
Headlight lenses are polycarbonate, so pretty resistant to cracking etc.
You can get headlight "protectors" - but they are a very different beast to what most people think of as headlight protectors (which are normally a clear plastic / polycarbonate clip-on lens cover). The Land Rover ones for D3/D4 area black plastic "frame" which sits around the headlight with "webbing" that runs across the face of the light in certain areas.

I've seen a few Disco's with these fitted. Personally I think they are more about appearance, as I really don't think that they would offer too much protection at all. You can get similar for the tail lights. ;)
I know what you mean about windscreen and ECB fog lights! Both my fog lights are wrecked, and at $80 each for ECB replacements, I think I might try the SCA $30 (for the pair) ones that look like they will fit
I have heard of 1 person having a cracked headlight lens, but being polycarbonate, they are very resistant to stones.
Edit - oh you beat me to it BMKal!
