What version of gap software are you running please? I might need an update.

No change from original. It appears that the restricted performance limitation has been introduced since MY10.

I had a feeling that might be the case - also, I just checked and my fault is P2269, "water in fuel condition, Algorithm based failure" not P2264

The alarm came back and I've bought a new fuel filter.
Feels like I'm on a road you have travelled.

The sensor housing? Is that the black plastic thing that the fuel filter screws into?
not too sure what it looks like.
Justin troubleshooted the issue and then told me what needed replacing.
As I had extended warranty on the vehicle, I then took it to the dealer to get it replaced.

the replacement kit came complete with a new housing and new fuel sensor.
maybe try what Graeme has done and replace just the electronic module.
supposedly it is a common fault with the early D4's.
