    2011 D4 third row passenger side won't flip ?

    Hi guys

Recently I purchased 2011 d4 when I try to flip the third row seat for the first time the passenger side won't go up when I pull the latch . The driver side is totally fine . I inspect the car and I did try the driver side and I Assume the passenger side it's gonna be fine however this is not the case . My bad anyway .

Has anyone encounter this problem ? Now since the latch won't work is there a way I can fix it . I cannt see anything unless the seat do go up .
    Help and advise please !!!

    Cheers

When pulling up the levers, how do the two sides compare? Is there the same amount of resistance/tension on each?
    Cheers, Dale

So I assume it is not possible to pull the lever on the LHS and then manually pull the seat up?
    Cheers, Dale

Try pushing it down first whilst pulling the latch. Sounds like it may be stuck... this may free it up...

One side on my (now getting old) D3 often won't come up when I pull up the lever.
With the lever pulled up a good thump with the palm of my hand about half way between the front & the lever seems to fix it.
Failing that try holding the lever up & shaking the front edge of the seat up & down pretty hard.
The seats are very strong & you should not damage them.

    Forgot to mention,
If you just bought the car take it back & get them to fix it.

    Thanks bud .

Yes I got it to flip by shaking it a bit. I have to pull the lever really hard and move the seat a bit . I end up out some grease on the joint will see how that goes . I did realise one of the seat belt buckle the plastic thing it's broken what that is when the seat is fold it pushes the seat belt buckle down now I am trying to find out the part number of that plastic thing so I can replace it .
