The rack itself is about 1395, but I got a couple of extras! All up, still cheaper than my dream to get a Prospeed and as it turns out more appropriate.
Check out frontrunner outfitters website. It all on there.

It does seem though that the new mounting system is not as low as what I have been told. I was told that the new system is much lower than the original FrontRunner mounting system that I have - so much so that you could not fit the camping table and it's slide-in rails under the rack if mounted on the new system. From your photos, your platform doesn't really look to be any lower than mine - and I gather that you have fitted the same table under the rack.
I do recall reading something on their website about the under slung table needing the High version. Maybe if you don't want this option you can get a lower one? Most likely the same table. From the website they say add 50mm to the rail height of 72.5mm. Measurements to the roof are below.

Could I trouble you to measure the highest point of the rack to the ground level - in normal "road height". I know I will fit if I lower to access height, but I don't want to rely on this incase one day I'm in a hurry and forget to lower to access height. Your help would be appreciated - thanks
    I'll get those measurements tomorrow, but for now I can tell you the heights from the roof to the top edge are as follows;
Front foot (about mid door) = 185mm
    B Pillar = 130mm
    Rear foot - 135mm
    Front Centre = 170mm
    Rear Centre = 120mm

The tray bed is about 23mm down from the top edge.
    Cheers, Mungus.

I'm happy with the height of mine. Enough room to get my hands in under the rack to wash / polish the roof when it needs it without removing the rack, and I have the table mounted under mine as well, and very happy with it. Just have to slide the table out if washing / polishing the roof.

I looked at a number of roof racks available at the time, and couldn't find anything that meets my needs better than the FrontRunner. After slipping off the spare tyre once in wet weather while climbing up onto the rack to tie down some luggage, I have since bought and fitted the FrontRunner rear ladder as well.
    Cheers .........

With 2nd spare, 2 antenna mounts and awning there's still 1360mm behind! Just enough for the tent and small water tank.

Surprisingly easy to get the second spare up top. Just push it up or down the ladder.

That would be great thanks Mungus, as I have the same wheels and tyre size as your vehicle. So it should be accurate for my vehicle. cheers Garfield

I'm going to struggle Russ, as the RTT is a large Gordigear one at 1200mm x 1690mm, so with it opening out the drivers side where I want it (Rapid wing on the left), the 1690mm is front to back. Add 800mm dia. tyre and the RTT hangs over the back about 300mm. Might have to look at a bit of overhang front and back or rear wheel carrier as a last option, leaving space for other stuff up top.
    Cheers, Mungus.

At normal height from floor to top is 1990mm at front corner and 2005 at rear corner. Keep in mind the rack floor is 23mm below the side rail top.
    Cheers, Mungus.

Mine is thin metal with a thin rubber coating and almost clears the mounting stud anyway.
For something that comes flat packed and bolts together, these are very good quality and very strong once fixed in place. Under rack table is very good quality as well.
I really would have liked the Prospeed one as IMO it is the best looking rack available, but unfortunately the load length is not as long as the Front Runner. Wouldn't have fitted my RTT and spare on the Prospeed the way I want.

    Really happy with it.

    Couple of picks

Thought it looked new when I was tailing you home down the highway tonight...

And folks it does look as good as it does in the photos.

Yes... and after looking at many, the Gordigear was my preference and everything else was considered around that. Fits the three of us quite well. I actually have it mounted on our trailer (still not complete) and at the very least will make the FRSII rack work with it and the Rapid Wing; another preference. If I can't fit the tyre, then so be it.

    Cheers, Mungus.
