One service item which should have been done in 2015 on a 2008 model, is replacing the timing belts. It's due at 168,000km or 7 years - whichever comes first. If it wasn't done, I would try pushing the dealer - selling a car which hasn't been serviced to schedule is a bit rich, imho.

Also check that the last of the HPFP recalls was performed - this can be checked by entering the VIN into Topix. Land Rover

Don't let the dealer fob you off with "Yes, the HPFP recall was done" - as there were several! The last one is it - P021 - if that wasn't done, it wasn't done!

Plus agree that if he is going to keep it for a while, servicing th 6HP26 is a good idea.

    Cheers,
    Rob

LCAs will either be done or need doing also.

    Agree on tranny service.

    Otherwise enjoy.

I couldn't see where you enter the VIN - am I correct in assuming you can enter the VIN to see what recalls have been performed on a particular vehicle?
