fair question troglodyte (!) actually I would prefer that Sand Mode automatically disabled DCS. Kind of a no-brianer if you ask me. Don't mind it not putting the car into off-road height as I run rods and would always prefer to do this myself.Originally Posted by tact
Help this defender troglodyte (me) understand. We are talking about a vehicle that has a 'sand mode' you can easily just switch to, but to traverse sand you also need to raise height and turn off DSC in separate actions. Correct?
So is 'sand mode' a misnomer? Fortunately easily fixed with masking tape and a sharpie!
Sand mode sets DCS intervention to low (which should be disabled), HDC off, accelerator mapping changed to give fast response, auto starts in 2nd (or 3rd if in low range), launch control active (if fitted)
