How to adjust D4 MY15 headlights?

I have fitted aftermarket HID's to my previously halogen projector headlights. Is there a way to bring the high beam down without also lowering the shutter on the low beam?

The headlights can be adjusted but the adjustment can be difficult to get to. This will change both low and high beam at the same time. When I fitted my HIDs I did not find it necessary to adjust the headlamps though.

I did this upgrade with my D2. I set them as low as possible and was still getting flashed by approaching cars. Others on this forum has said it's illegal to do this conversion as the lens design is different and not suited to HID.

No, the adjustment is to the combined unit. WSM section in this thread:

    Thanks everyone.
When I upgraded to HID, I fitted one globe then compared it with the still installed halogen on the other side. It lined up perfectly with the halogen & with the tape marks I made on the garage door. I have never been flashed by other road users so the adjustment is about right.

A couple of nights ago I happened to drive straight at a building with the lights in bright. There was a lot of bright light high up, about where the possums would be. Seeing as I like to look for roos, rather possums, got me wondering about some adjustment.

Overall, the lights are a huge improvement from standard.
