Thread: Solar panel roof mounted to D3. My take.

    A little bit of noise around 100klm just a bit like on a light windy day disappears at 110klm not sure why but very quite. Turn the radio up cant hear any noise at all.

    How easy was it to get the cable down inside the body to the left compartment where you have your charge controller?

    Very easy you pull the large plastic section that has the rear interior light in it down it is held up there by plastic pins that locate in the metal chassis Just pull the rubber seal away to assist the removal. Comes down very easy. You just feed the cable down near the rear pillar put your hand in the rear pocket and feel for the cable. Very easy job .

    Can you still clean the roof under the panel or is it too tight?
