Bumper looks amazing Scott, I can’t see any sign of those number plate screw holes. Who did the work for you?

Fortunately beauty is in the eye of the beholder (which explains how it is that ugly people ..........)!

Personally I like the look of a bull bar on a D4 and in my case the score is: Bull bar 2 vs Roos 0

Yes agree re roos. Im yet to hit one with the D4 so it will be interesting to see how the front holds up. Daughters suzuki swift has had 2 fronts replaced in 2 years and daughter in law with same car has had 3 replaced in 2 years. They keep the local bodywork in business☺

I reckon some roos are on a retainer by the panel shops...

I personally like the look of a bar on a D4 and mine has also saved us from expensive repairs with local Wildlife. I just wish my ARB was a winch bar or if I could retrofit/ modify it to make it one. Acres of room behind the bar, just need the correct reinforcing plates etc.

I’d been holding off buying one for mine given it’s pending end of life. Now given I’ve invested in it for the long term I might get one. The trouble is I really want a Defender - but I can’t afford one so I need to let that be for a few years yet.

With the driving we do any 4x4 we have must have a decent Bullbar. The D4 we just bought had a ARB bar on it and was a big part of the reason we bought this car. Only downside it is not a winch bar, so does not have the cut out panel. Anyone have any idea if these can be modified to mount a winch?

This thread is for winch mounts without a bullbar.
There's plenty of threads to discuss pros/cons/details of bullbars.

Cant see why not, only difference i can think of is maybe the cameras in the bar but a fairlead shouldn't affect that.
