A set of 6 will be $3390 though, it is sure up there!
I ordered a set of 5 in June just before the deadline for the next order. Estimated delivery date was late September to early October. Gordon (GOE is his company) e-mailed on October 10 (he had just returned from a tag along tour to the Pilbara and had just got back in range) to inform those that had ordered that due to a large sale to the U.S. the factory had had to make up a new batch for Gordon's order. Normal delivery to Gordon was to be around mid to latish November (he had not received the paperwork for the ship booking at that stage hence the vague ETA) and then another 4 to 6 days delivery to me in Sydney from W.A.. I chose the slow way as freight will be approximately $100 for 5 rims rather than the normal $140 per rim air freight from the UK. Gordon offered a discounted air freight if enough people wanted to do that or a refund if anyone wanted it.

Yes it has been a slow process but he is at the mercy of the factory and shipping delays. In my case I wasn't concerned about a long lead time as my tyres are still quite serviceable and I planned when to buy. Other people have bought direct from Compomotive but I cannot comment on their experiences.

0I ordered directly from OS in late September. Came within 3 weeks delivered to my door. Cost $2500 for 5. They even apologised that I had to wait 5 extra days due to some delay at Compomotive. You just need to google to find the deals.

I enquired with Compomotive earlier this year about an order of 30 or so wheels as I was going to set up a group buy. They said no they would only deal with Gordon in Australia.

But that does not mean Gordon is the only option in Australia, as other overseas retailers will post to Australia.

Group buys would incur GST. Single purchase and the seller is often willing to "negotiate". Hence the very cheaper outcome. It still would be cheaper than local but .....

    Brake change

Jamesadelaide I am pretty keen to follow this thread. I too have just acquired 2014 tdv6 with the sad 19 rims. I actually contacted an Asian firm that produce an 8 pot calliper on a 354mm rotor. They wouldn’t commit to it fitting smaller rims but sent me an excact scale template of the complete calliper profile and now I am just hunting down an 18” standard rim to check clearance? I live a bit out of the way. I believe 18 is the best compromise as there are a heap of load rated tyres now in that spec. Diameter I am not to fussed but want legal ( max 50 over diameter) but load rating is king. Seems the delivered set in whatever colour you choose is about 1600. So very doable. Ill let you know my progress. Meanwhile if anyone has an 18” rim to donate......... or pm me and I can forward the template.
If all else fails I may go to the steel rims. But the 19” must go or the car will and that would be a shame as its simply outstanding in every other respect.

    Brake link

Land Rover Discovery 4 / LR4 (09 up) Front Big Brake Kit

This is the link and you can request a template. Various sizes available including a 17” size rotor. May help. However I might have underestimated the price.

I have a template of a 18" LR alloy wheel that I can send you from when I went through the exercise of trying to find an aftermarket caliper that would fit over the std rotor.

Unless you bring them in 1 or 2 at a time, you are going to pay GST. My estimates had them cheaper than the GOE wheels even with GST. The key difference was I was not going to take money until I had stock.

Anyway the factory would not deal with me (and I have since done a desert trip on 19" wheels with no issues and the Tuffant wheels have now become an option)....
