    It came with a full mechanical history in the log book. There had been a couple of changes of mechanics in recent times. Perhaps that should have raised a few alarms!

    Short city drives kill economy. Even on lowish speed drives, once the motors fully warmed the economy is much better

    Yeh they are pretty inexpensive relative to most things. It is likely why there is lots of ****e in the throttle body and MAF...

    Well, the first 24 hours with the D3 resulted in multiple warnings about Reduced Engine Performance in about 100km. Cleaned the MAF and Throttle Body and nothing for the last 3 days & 300km, so pretty happy with that. PCV valve (yes, I know) ordered and will go in when back from holidays.
