What brand phone are you using? I've since done some Googling, and there are issues with the app, and samsung phones.

    Hi DI5CO,
I have bought a couple of the ctek monitors. I now see that their connectors are small and circular and cannot see any direct connections at the battery terminals. How did you connect yours (do you have any pictures)?

    TIA,
    Peter

I connected mine to the ground stud in front of the battery box (bottom right of pic) and to the positive feed into the fusebox- see pic. For the aux battery I took positive from the breaker on my Traxide DT-90.

    Hi Peter
I just cut with pliers the end of the wire connector to spread it and make it bigger then just screwed it on that way. I don’t have a pic and I’m not near the car so will try to take one. Hope that makes sense lol

    Hi Dave,
I am fairly sure that I know what you mean. (Probably earlier) photos on the ctek site show the terminals much as you describe. I am hesitant to modify the terminals until I can prove that they work (as I have a Samsung phone).

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,
You've probably sorted your Ctek CTX battery sense terminals but for the benefit of others, I dremmeled the inner diameter of the M6 terminals to create M8 terminals. See pictures, black original M6 and Red dremmeled now M8

Thanks Tankmat. Where did this allow you to fit it?

I don't want to modify the unit before I establish that the software works with Samsung phones.

    Best Wishes,
    Peter
