You'll need to turn them off via a diagnostic tool and laptop, we turned ours off, pain in the arse, especially offroad, there is another option by covering them up I think it just stops the sensor picking up a tow hitch so you only cover the sensors near the tow hitch.

Only other way is to convince a dealer to do it, that might be expensive.

A couple of clear self adhesive furniture protectors will cut the sensitivity down, worked well on the 2 inner sensors when i fitted the mitch hitch.

Thing is Red Back they dont work at all. When i start the engine the warning light flashes but i dont know which one it is so best get rid o the bloody things1 Im sure they're stuffing up the system. But i will try what you suggest cheers Mate

I just want to get rid of em mate Just something else to stuff up and upset the apple cart haha

One of the first things I did when I got my GAP tool was to turn off the sensors.

Yeah mate pain in the Butt !! So these Gap tools range from $ 5 bucks up to a grand .What price do you recommend one should pay for a reasonable one like the OBD type ones or better than that ? See some that look ok around 50 bucks ,they any good?

So what is the issue with Parking Sensors - the best thing since sliced bread and have saved me a few times.

There is a big difference between tools like the GAP IIDtool and similar items and the eBay type of scan gauges. The scan gauges will do nothing for you to be frank whereas purpose built devices specifically engineered for LR products will do just about everything possible outside the dealer facilities.
