    It's not incorrect as such but an estimation given mileage, speed , fuel useage etc.

    Best D4 Diagnostic Software,

    Fuel consumption involves a CCF setting, so unrelated to an engine ECU remap or any other ECU. Similarly the terrain response program is in a different ECU to the engine one that can be remapped.

    Not trying to hijack this thread, but is it possible to change the lt/100km settings to make it true? Just a yes or no answer is fine, if it is I can start a new thread to discuss properly

    Yes. Takes time and a bit of guesswork.

    The overall reading is averaged over a set time period so will vary from real on occasion.

    It took me about 6 tanks to get it accurate.

    I think the transmission is pro'ly worth doing as I recently had mine changed, and ZF must have loaded the latest programme, as it feels sportier and also seems to be able to retard the speed much better when using Cruise Control, I suspect it might even be shifting down, as the old one would run away down hills.
