Hi, looks like you have had the ATR+ for about 9 mths now, any update, wear, noise, offroad damage and performance, wet road performance would be appreciated. My D697's are up for replacement and these are high on the list. Also PM'd you.
    Thanks
    Peter

    Hi Peter

I’ve had them on for about 10 months now, they are amazing in the wet and truly feel like on road tyre (coming from KO2’s which had no grip in the wet)

these are very quiet, never hear them at all with the windows up, very slight with the windows down - again miles ahead of the KO2 - Noise was the main reason for moving to a new tyre

however, I’m not sure about the longevity. I don’t know what mileage I had done when I put them on but I recently swapped the front to rear because the fronts were getting close to their end - my guy feel is they haven’t lasted a long distance but sadly no numbers to back that up.

even wear, good grip and no noise so I’ll probably get them again

    hope this helps

    Ditto!

I got 70,000 km out of Pirelli Scorpian ATR and the set of AT Plus on my D4 ATM are coming up to 55,000 km.

I think they will make at least the 70,000 again.

Another set of AT Plus will be going on - luv’em!

Has anyone noticed that they're AT PLUS, not ATR PLUS.

    Pressures you run
    Loads on/in your vehicle
    Your driving style (cornering etc)
    Local road surfaces
    Number of roundabouts you use
How many turns you make on an average trip
Kilometres driven per year (age vs km)

I do about 30,000 km per year, mostly on bitumen but sometimes rough crappy bitumen, generally on the speed limit - up to 130, lightly loaded to heavily loaded, about half of that towing a 6.7M boat.
I run the tyre pressures that are on the door.
I put 5 Pirellis on the vehicle and rotate every 10,000 km including the spare - plus a wheel alignment.
The Disco is very sure-footed with the Pirellis, even in torrential downpours, quiet as a mouse - abd I am happy with the wear.

I find that my 275/55R20 AT+ are too big for my L322 but with the harsh treatment my tyres are sometimes subjected to I don't want to go down to the 255/55/R19's shorter sidewalls and lower load index especially as I'd have to buy 6 D4 19" rims to give the size a try. If only 255/60R19 with LI 113 were available....
