SDV6 / 3.0TDV6 Engine Number Location?

I took mine to Soverign and they photographed it, and put the photo with a stat dec.

Any idea where Sovereign found it? As I can't see it anywhere near the Starter Motor? Also what did Sovereign charge - as car doesn't have any Registration at the moment so I would have to get another Unregistered permit etc. The engine has clearly not been removed since it was built.

Look in this thread: TDV6 engine number location

This is where the number is on a MY10 3.0 block, on the flat area on the right side immediately rearwards of the bottom rear engine mount bolt. I can just make out numbers but the area hasn't been cleaned.

No idea - I left it with them and picked it up at the end of the day.
I never need to find it after that!

Hi all my RR sport tdv6 is due in tomorrow and I am looking at taking it to Regency for a ID. It has a new engine block and just passed blue slip in NSW so I expect it will be easily visible (in theory)

Do you think it would help at all to remove the under tray for the inspection to give them a bit more room to see? Or will I be out of luck most likely?

Hopefully someone has had a positive experience there !
