    Decided to try them out.
So far impressed. Tolerably quiet, had decent rain through Truro to Waikerie and they held nicely.

Will get them out on the tracks when I get a chance.
Looks OK. If I could get them in LT in that size or 265/60/18 I would give them a run. Cheers

Their website doesn't show them as LT in that size for the AT5 but I see Mike has the RT.
    Cheers

I think my next AT will be the Maxxis Razr 811 AT in LT 265/60R18. They tick so many boxes and handle in wet very for such an aggressive AT pattern well which is a priority for me towing long distances in a variety of weather. I love the Duratracs too but keen to try the newer tyre. I remember when Maxxis were not well known except in Tough Tracks etc but once mainstream people realised how good they were and the price went up. I know their treads are not as deep as Duratrac and some others in LT they are still excellent tyres. The Maxxis Bravo I used to run were very much like the Michelin XPC that was stock on D2 and some Defenders.

    Cheers

    dash backlighting

Hi, new to this forum but in other Disco forums as well.

My issue today is daytime dash backlighting for speedo is no longer working, shut the car down and on restart no backlighting......all other dash lighting working fine , back lighting comes on for the speedo at night with the headlamps as it should.
anyone ever experienced this before? when I searched this forum one guy had the same issue back in 2017 but back then he wasnt taken seriously. These cars are riddled with all sorts of gremlins so nothing surprise me with them and yeah sometimes some one asks a stupid question when thay are new etc....this is not one of those questions so if you have experienced this I would like to hear about your resolution if you found one.

There is a small wheel you can rotate with your thumb next to the light switch on the right hand side of the steering wheel which will brighten and dull the lights.

In cases like this a reflash of the software might help

Riddled with Gremlins? You’re taking the ****…
Very few issues electronically. My work Prado and Hilux had more issues.

Look at the ambient light sensor - a code read wouldn’t hurt either.

Go to the vendor section and get yourself a manual to. Mines on a cheap tablet in the glove box. It's a life saver at times.
