SubscriberIt brought us home from the first camping trip of the Dry season. We stayed at Mt Bundy Homestead just out of Adelaide River so it was only a short drive to the War Cemetery of the ANZAC Day Dawn Service yesterday. Probably about 3,000 at the service and Adelaide River is a town of less than 200! The blue in the photo is from lighting but I was blue by the time it finished as the temperature was 13.4 when the average April minimum is 21.8

Finally a new windscreen. The old one had chips and general rash on it and was deadly driving into the sun.
Obriens fitted a Pilkington Opticool without the LR brand on it. Very happy so far.

Well....today we sold our D3, a sad day for us, but it's off to a good home, and I hope the new owners have as much fun in it as we did....
this pic was taken years ago when we did a 4wd training day at "Melbourne 4wd Training Ground", Werribee.

Super ModeratorI'm not Redback, but everything you need to know is in this thread :
DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - How To - EPB repair/Unjam + Relatch
Apparently if you are a double jointed tiny Russian gymnast it can even be done without removing the module from the vehicle.
Must have been designed by a public servant or similar.
Plastic gearbox, plastic gears, and a cute little motor (brushless?) hooked up to a computer..................... just to operate what used to be called a handbrake.
I wonder who thought of the cable (ripcord?) for when it all goes wrong. Seems like the cable #1 needs another cable (#2?) for when cable #1 doesn't work when you need to pull it because something else hasn't worked.
cheers, DL
