Local tyre power store reckons the Pirelli tyres were reduced from $450 each to $255 each x4 = $1020 fitted and balanced.
Also told me the Pirelli tyres are the top notch in tyres and a very good road tyre. Will see how they perform.

Wheel alignment not done due to my suspension issues - seems now the rear end goes into extended mode but on other drives all suspension issues resolve themselves even whilst driving - error codes disappear from view.
fitted 5 new Coopers, busted one on a rock wall, 400 each, the TOYOS have many 5 star reviews and they are 260, the Coops also have 5 stars, they run very silently

Bought my starting battery, a Super Start Battery SS88TI, 2.5 years ago and at the time it came with a whopping 42 month warranty. That was a draw card, to be honest. Well, the last couple of months the car hasn't been cranking as fast. The last couple of weeks I've been worried it wouldn't even start. This was only apparent after sitting for probably 6hrs or so. Drive it and start it during the day and no worries but the first start of the day or after extended rest and that's when you'd notice the slow cranking. The car has been driven just shy of 50k this last year so it does get regular long drives.
Took the battery into IBD, Adelaide. They charged it overnight and when I walked back in this afternoon, they came out with a new battery! Woohoo! However, SSB obviously have seen a trend and now only offer 24 months warranty. First time I've had a battery fail within warranty period.

Actually quite avg for this vehicle. It’s the loads that take batteries down, in most modern vehicles loads are so heavy now we are doing well to get 3 years.

Well, heres the removal video for the coolant inlet connector on the LHS of the block. Not too sure if the 3L is identical or not, but this will apply for the 2.7's all round I would think. I'll link the playlist here so I dont have to post up the install video next week.

Pretty conclusive you want to be changing this item about 10 years. Unlike the top part that splits on the join seam this one just deteriorates to crumbly mess. At least maybe slowly enough to give a warning.
