When mine does the warm thing I hit the AC button and clutch it off, wait 5 seconds, press it back on and it starts cooling again. Weird.

Same here, does the same. Mind you it was 40deg outside. I'm thinking the system is over pressured. Watch this space. Going to an ac indie next week.

Well bugger me. It's right there in section 412-01 of the wiring diagram. R14 in the engine junction box.

There's a first. I've *never* seen a variable displacement compressor with a clutch.

Have you read the pressure, evap temp and valve position/current with a diagnostic tool?

Not yet, need to see if my rovacom unit can actually do that, can't see why not. Will let you know.

The control algorithms are a bit complex but with the evap temp, system pressure and compressor percentage (on my D3 it's compressor current) there's a really good insight into what the system is doing.

There’s a clutch, I kept my old compressor. Ditch the entire compressor for a new one, the valve isn’t worth investigating as the price of a New genuine compressor is only $650 for the amount of work involved.
