Definitely no rubbing on access height, I use that often to access city car parks, even on full lock there is no rubbing
Think I might go ‘down’ to 265’s next tyre change. The squealing through the multi-storey car parks when near full lock is driving me bonkers.
The 10mm spanner disappeared in to the depths of the engine bay yesterday.
Didn’t appear underneath the vehicle.
Much searching hasn’t revealed where it’s gone.
I think it may have gone to another time and dimension.
Perhaps I need a sonic screwdriver to find it.
I would first like to thank all those who have gone before me and shared their knuckle skinning sage like knowledge.
Over the next few days I hope to achieve the following:
1. Safari Snorkel installation. Thanks to Tombie and LR Time for tips and tricks up front. Will see if these tips pay off. Impact drills, humour and an air saw ready to go.
2. Tuffant Kimberley 18" Rims and Radar Renegade RT+ LT265/65/18 tyres. Rims to all, Radar RT+'s to Tombie. No pressure mate.
3. Dual battery installation using the D3 Driver's side location as I have the space. (Fingers crossed Drivesafe (aka Tim) comes through.)
4. Complete a drawer / fridge slide combination in the passenger side location including a dedicated engel power outlet.
5. Mitch hitch completion with a contoured trailer socket closure panel refit.
Wish me luck. Photos to come hopefully.
