Had my AC keep on losing charge.
AC guy put in the gas with the UV dye in it.
After a few days I looked all over the engine bay but found no leaks with my UV light.
Checking the lines to the rear AC found 2 suspect joints.
Are they a bastard to change the orings?

Nicely done - I’m taking notes for when mine eventually gives out. I’ve been using Gorilla brand black waterproof tape for a waterproof flexible (rubber substitute) cover for some temporary. repairs to things like the fob button rubber, and wonder if it could be useful here as a waterproof layer for temporary switch cover? What you’ve done here is a nice solution!
I have picked up an old ARB compressor and hose for $100. It seems to work well. Never had a compressor on board before as I’m yet to properly off-road these vehicles. Where is everyone fitting\storing them? I’ve noticed some folks on the forum are using the free space in the enclosure with the ABS and master cylinder. How do compressors go with the heat in that spot? Are there any other places to consider for fitting or do you recommend just storing them in a case/bag.
I have a Nissan Patrol Ute with front and rear ARB air lockers and the compressor fits under the front drivers seat with the switch on the dash.Quote:
