I used the D3's HDC (Hill Descent Control) yesterday to drop down a steep corrugated track to a creek crossing on a rain damaged dirt road near me. Not sure if it is so corrugated because people don't let their cars drain of excess water before roaring up the bank.

Finally installed some driving lights…recently moved more rural, and the hoppy skippy things are more abundant than Sydney suburbia.
Installed Lazer lamps, with grille mount (full kit supplied).
About a days work….but I tripled measured, postulated, second guessed almost everything….especially when taking a hacksaw blade to the front grille.
Switch mounted near my llams.
Lights are pretty awesome….dare I say, night / day different.
Here’s my solution. I started to have some big stone chips on grill causing lifting paint. I found a perfect replacement on eBay cheap from UK. So I have bolted some L brackets to the old one with wooden blocks behind. Gives me a city grill and a touring grill plug and play as I prefer stock looks overall.
I tried spotties and fine on road but too wobbly and too much point load for corrugations even with my rubber door stop support to bumper.
The light bar however is much more rigid without the cantilever effect.
For additional stiffness and security I have a cable tie around the grill and internal frame.
The internal switch I put on the underside horizontal panel out of sight. Easy to wire and you just feel under to turn it on which is not very often.
Note headlights after 400/600/800/1000/1200 sandpaper followed by 2K clear coat.
