Spent about two hours last night getting the glovebox door off, as I think I might have put the hinge pins back the wrong way around when I did the first handle repair about ten years ago. Does anyone know if the latest glovebox door catches are any more robust?
You're braver than I am. One side of our latch broke sometime about 6 or 8 years ago and it's still in that state as I wasn't game to attempt a repair. [bigsad]
This helps but I used cable ties last time....
D3 Glovebox - Repair Handle
I've bookmarked it in case I need it before we retire the old girl.
Must have some hammer fisted operators around here [emoji1787][emoji23]
Not sure how my glovebox broke as it was like that when I bought it, but the handle clips in so it wasn't noticeable.
I don't think I'm too rough or ham fisted as my nickname used to be ''Bondi'' which I thought was a compliment but turns out it's because I'm not Manly.
