Mine lives outside most of the time but gets polished twice a year so paint is still good
It’s only the roof on mine maybe a silver issue you don’t see it so much as you can feel the clear has lost it’s battle with the sun.Quote:

The clearcoat on the roof is damaged, but the rest of the car is ok. I might get the roof resprayed one day after the important issues have been addressed (aircon, suspension bushes etc)
My D3 has a UV affected roof, from its Darwin days. It hasn't caused any issues. [biggrin]Quote:

On the topic of UV / heat it’s interesting in the LR Time vids with his older cars there is never an issue with fixing the headliner which is pretty much mandatory now on any Aussie Disco older than MY[emoji637][emoji638]. Most of the cars there seem to live outside their whole life also.

Dropped it off this afternoon to be repaired. Unfortunately the plastic pipes for the rear heater are not able to be procured so the rear heater will be isolated so that only the front works. Rarely have people in the rear two rows and even in the Dry when it sometimes gets below 10 of a morning, once past 8am in it back in the 20s outside anyway.Quote:
