I fitted an RFI CDQ7195 uhf style external aerial. it’s middle of the range in terms of its relative gain so works well in both hilly or flat country. I believe they are pretty highly regarded in the mining and other industries where rough gravel roads and consequent vibrations can take their toll on cheaper aerials. We travel outback quite a bit so wanted that reassurance.
be aware that a CelFi Go will not work if there is NO mobile signal, there must be a weak signal for it to operate. I find that one weak dot of 3G signal can go to 3 or 4 (of 4 possible dots) of 3G and sometime a couple of dots of 4G. I usually leave it on the “automatic” Switch setting.
