Looks good, if you run a smaller more flexible hose up the top you can use them as “Camel back” style drinking whilst on the move.

A friend did this when he was touring a lot.

Hi Aussie Jeepster, looks excellent, nicely sorted. A suggestion is to swap out the worm drive clamps for spring clamps. The hose will creep (relax under the pressure of the clamp) over time and since worm drive clamps don't self tighten leaking will be the likely result. Probably just a small one but in the back of the car it's a bit of a pain.

Removed and replaced my transfer case. Didn't get rid of all the drive line play but did a little bit. Was good to get the shafts greased before they posed an issue.. added a bit to a thread about transfer cases..

As a comparison,i did my driving shift of approx 6 hours through Dalby and Moonie to St George,in the Puma.

No issues, but something i don't want to do again in a hurry.....

Seems they recon i am getting too soft in my old age...

Or too use to the D4.

Started to get some throttle symptoms again which had gone away. Manageable by feathering the brake pedal a bit. I had a loose theory that it came back with it getting slightly colder in Sydney.

Antway, I installed a new brake light switch from Repco (fuelmiser csl187) since it was in stock. Had ordered an OEM but missing somewhere. Works fine though purple not blue.

Striped one of the dash fixings though. Need to check that out.

Timing belts getting done today at 125,000 kms but year model is 2012 so do not want to push our luck too much, wish I had picked up on it not being done before buying the car.

Have also ordered a Traxide dual battery kit with Anderson Plug and will fit next weekend along with having a second crack at the emergency boot release installation as the release cable I used last time was too stiff and would not let the boot lock.

    Cheers
    Jonathan
